Kathleen “Katie” Siemont
Attorney Kathleen “Katie” Siemont is a certified specialist in worker’s compensation law. She is admitted to the District of Columbia and California State Bars. Katie litigated for large corporations for over fifteen years as an insurance defense attorney. Her experience as a prior WC insurance defense attorney at a state-wide law firm gives her insight into how adjusters assess cases, claimants, and what makes defendants settle. Katie will honestly tell you the realities of the comp system, your best options, and talk with you to make the best decision for you. Katie is direct, forceful and outspoken, ready to fight for her clients.
Katie regularly appears at the Oakland, San Francisco, Sacramento and Santa Rosa Boards. She attended the National Law Center in Washington D.C. at George Washington University where she earned both a law degree and a Masters’ Degree in Public Health in three years. She enjoys performing improv comedy with a childrens’ theater group in Oakland, and continues her volunteer work with Vallejo’s pro bono Lawyers in the Library program.
